For a “base layer” it works way better than advertised. I wore this as an outer layer on a recent bear hunt in Maine and I was never cold or uncomfortable despite the cold, wind, and rain that always comes with hunting in Maine. It performed way beyond the call of duty and I can confidently say that anyone wanting to hunt the north woods with the cruiser shirt in there arsenal will be more than satisfied!

Been a good wool button up so far, warm and plenty of room for a layer or two underneath. Would like to see the neck liner slightly bigger so cover more of the scratchy wool feel but it's not bad. Sharp looking shirt for everyday wear and I'll be using it in the early season when I don't need a jacket quite yet.
